Compelled to Care is a multi-faceted ministry that was birthed by people who wanted a safe place to be with other people who know what it means to care for kids from hard places. Everyone wants to serve foster kids, but sometimes it's hard to know how. There are many ways to serve in Compelled to Care. You can serve at large events, write encouraging cards or even help organize gift drives for foster kids and help organize donations.

Compelled to Care began as a group of 10 parents so we believe in the importance of small groups. We host in-person and virtual meet-ups. No membership required to attend.

FAMILY MEET-UPS
YOUTH FAMILY MEET-UP
Youth Family Meet-ups are for youth 11+ and their parent/caregivers. Youth Family Meet-ups are quarterly events exclusively for the big kids where they can try new things, connect with other kids their age who are apart of foster, adoptive or kinship families. Our youth leaders also attend these events because they love the community of Compelled to Care.

There are opportunities throughout the year for these kids to raise money for their meet-ups. In October they sold Italian Sodas and hot dog dinners to raise money to rent Skateland for a private skate party. Registration for these events will be posted under events.

SUMMER PLAYDATE PARK TOUR
The Summer Playdate Park Tour is an annual tour of local parks that we have been doing since 2016. We meet weekly on Wednesday mornings from 10am-12pm for 8 weeks in July and August.
​
Every week we have a different activity for the kids like rock painting, nerf blaster fights and bubbles.
​
This meet-up is best for toddlers-5th grade and their older siblings.
​
No registration required. Just show up.
