Everyone wants to serve foster kids, but sometimes it's hard to know how. There are many ways to serve in Compelled to Care. You can serve at large events, write encouraging cards or even help organize gift drives for foster kids and help organize donations.

It's almost back to school time! An easy way to support local foster, adoptive and kinship families is by donating school supplies and backpacks!

We are partnering with Living Water, Lacey and the local community to collect school supplies for foster, adoptive and kinship families in the Thurston County area.
HOW IT WORKS
Purchase items off the shopping list and donate them
in-person at Living Water, Lacey or Evergreen Christian Community in Olympia or shop online with our Amazon wish list or give financially and we will shop for you!
On August 23rd we will have a giveaway event where kids can "shop" for their supplies for FREE and pick out a backpack that reflects their own personal style!

Kids attending VBS - The school supply drive kicks off on Monday, July 22nd at Living Water Lacey's Vacation Bible School. Kids attending VBS can return the supplies on the last day of day camp.
Evergreen Christian Community in the church office - until Wednesday, August 21st.

ONLINE GIVING
Use the Amazon Wish List to purchase supplies and they will ship directly to us. One item we really need every year is teen backpacks - specifically Jansport backpacks so we've added a few to the list .
You are also welcome to give funds directly to the school supply drive and we will purchase items for you.
